Air intake of gas turbines

To reduce the noise of gas turbines, it is essential to work on their suction section, also called air intake. These are very powerful noise sources, which can reach an intensity of more than 150 dB(A), and consequently require special acoustic treatments. CTM Ambiente specialises in solving the acoustic problems of gas turbines and the like and has carried out dozens of implementations in different areas and countries, which are still active and efficient, designing ad hoc solutions with specific noise abatement techniques.
