Bespoke enclosure with acoustic double-skin sandwich panel cladding
CTM Ambiente designed, supplied and installed an acoustic enclosure for a cogeneration plant with a Wartsila 12V34SC motor and adjacent switchgear and transformer rooms in Borgo Tossignano, in the province of Bologna.
The acoustic cur tain walling is made of sandwich panels, double sheets of plasterboard and slats.
The enclosure is designed to ensure that the sound pressure level emitted by the cogenerator at maximum capacity at a distance of 10 m from the walls of the building in free field is no higher than 52 dB(A).
